Aluminum and Canvas Awnings, 3-Season and Screen Rooms, Patio covers. Maintenance free products!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dave was a regional salesman for Howmat Awning company and began his own business selling awnings as a part time business while serving in the Iowa National Guard. Upon retiring from the National Guard, his business began to grow. In 1996, son-in-law Jim started with the company and in 2006 took over the day-to-day operations of the company. From its humble beginnings in 1968, to today our family owned business employs 9 employees. A family owned and operated business, we ensure quality products and services.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
DK Home Products has been serving the community since 1968. We are pioneers in new products and constantly seeking new shade products. As a manufacturer our products are not shipped in or cookie cutter. We custom fab to fit your home or business.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
1 location and now provide wholesale awning products nationwide.

Iowa 80 to exi 295A Brady Street South, turn right at the light, turn the next right on the frontage road to 345 W 76. Across the street from Michaels SportsWorld and close to Best Western Steeplegate.
What type of payments do you accept?
Credit Cards and short terms
Which areas do you service?
Quad City area for retail services, Nationwide for wholesale. Will travel within a 125 mile radius of Quad Cities.

Monday - Friday 8:00 to 4:30 (summer hours later) Saturday by appt between 9:00 and 12:00
